Yes. Penny's Solitaire runs each deal through a solver before showing it to you, and rates it from Easy to Impossible. If you lose, the hand could have been won.
They come from how hard the solver had to work — how many dead ends it hit, how long the winning path was, and how many of the possible lines lead anywhere. A hand rated Expert has very few routes through it.
A challenge link contains a specific deal. Opening it with the app installed takes you straight to that hand — the same cards in the same order the sender played. Without the app, you will see a summary of the challenge instead.
Statistics and progress live only on your device and are not backed up to us, because we run no servers. Deleting the app removes them permanently.
Email us with your device model, iOS version, and what you were doing. If it involves a specific deal, the deal number from the game screen helps a great deal.
